the hands of a sweet little lady at the market in Debark, Ethiopia...she had very little food or money, her clothes were ripped but she had a big smile and that wedding ring reminded me that no matter what she doesn't have, she has someone!

I just realized how idiotic that sounded. I wasn't implying that food and clothes (aka essential things) were matieral possessions...I was implying, rather, that material possessions are material possessions. *slaps herself*
